Halal Cart Chicken

  1. Add chicken to a large bowl with ingredients above; mix well -marinate for at least 30 minutes up to overnight

  2. Place chicken on wired baking sheets

  3. Bake at 400°F for about 30 minutes until internal temperature is 165°F

  4. Allow chicken to rest for 10 minutes before thinly slicing

Yellow Rice

  1. Heat a pan on medium heat and add oil

  2. Sauté the onions and garlic until softened

  3. Add the spices and seasonings-mix well

  4. Add the rice and water-mix well

  5. Add the bay leaf, cover, and lower heat to low

  6. Simmer for 20 minutes until rice is cooked

White Sauce

  1. Add ingredients to a large measuring cup or bowl; whisk together until smooth

  2. Transfer to a squeeze bottle and store in the fridge

Notes

Toppings:

-diced tomato, diced red onion, sliced cucumber, chopped lettuce & pita bread
